In this role, you will perform service, and installation of basic plumbing in commercial environments. If you are a Plumber Apprentice and have worked under a Licensed Plumber with a commitment to quality in all the work you do, a team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency, and have a positive attitude, then Northern Gulf Services wants you as part of our team. We are looking for a Plumber Apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis. Must be willing to grow towards becoming a Master Plumber. In this role, you will perform service, and installation of basic plumbing in commercial environments. Experience in restaurant equipment is a plus. Responsibilities Assemble and install pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, and bolts. Plan the layout of plumbing projects using drawings. Site assessment and total project management experience a plus. Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate project details and statuses. Complete used cooking oil equipment refurbishments (Pressure wash and paint metal used cooking oil collection equipment to go back into the field) Deliver used cooking oil equipment to job sites. Qualifications Valid Plumbing License. Minimum 1 year of professional experience. Strong knowledge of galvanized plumbing, hydraulic hose systems, fittings and basic pump system knowledge. Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment, pipe threading machines, etc. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Based electrical knowledge a plus. Must have a TWIC card or the ability to obtain one. Must be able to communicate well with customers. Additional details This is a full-time position! Hourly pay with bonuses paid for meeting project installation deadlines. Company truck/trailer and fuel card is provided to and from each job. Project completion dates are flexible weekday or weekend. Overnight travel may be required depending on the location of each project. References will be required.
