Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is looking for a career-minded, full-time Produce Team Member! Availability: Full-Time. 40 hours. One weekend shift is required per week. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday work week. Availability to work a combination of opening and closing shifts within a 6:00am-8:30pm timeframe. Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Hourly Pay: $17.00 - $19.00, depending on experience. The Produce Team Member’s primary responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all. Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items. Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis. Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department. Understands KWF inventory management practices. Requirements PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

The Produce Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and receiving and stocking fresh produce. They must maintain accurate product signage and ensure fresh displays throughout the department.
