We are seeking a dependable and driven Production Cook to support our kitchen operations, in our Ambler Location. This role is responsible for efficiently and consistently preparing high-volume food production in advance of service needs, ensuring seamless execution during peak hours. The successful candidate will follow standardized recipes to prepare, package, and label a diverse selection of high-quality prepared foods for retail. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in maintaining product availability and delivering a positive experience for our customers. What You’ll Do Prepare items from our daily production list using provided recipes Pre-wrap and label products for sale Keep the kitchen clean and up to sanitation standards Pitch in with weekend shifts as needed Follow all Weavers Way policies and procedures Attend team meetings and all-staff gatherings Help with quarterly inventory counts Read the day book and other updates at the start of each shift Take on other duties as assigned by Kitchen Management Requirements A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op. At least 3 years of experience in kitchen prep and production. Proficient knife skills. Volume cooking experience is a plus. Solid knowledge of food safety practices. A team player with great communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when needed. Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. A genuine passion for food and current culinary trends. Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
