We are looking to recruit a full time qualified OR trainee dental nurse to join our friendly busy team here at The Rendlesham dental practice. Hours are negotiable.
Uniform is provided, and qualified applicants have their GDC registration paid and annual Isopharm CPD training paid for. There is paid overtime and a special rate of pay for weekend work.
Training will be provided to trainees, with the aim to starting a dental nurse qualification subject to completion of a 3 month probation period.
Dental Nursing includes assisting the dentist chairside, decontamination/sterilisation of intruments and helping to care for our patients.
The practice is a busy Practice/Private and NHS practice providing a whole range of treatments to patients and we pride ourselves on the service we deliver. The right candidate will be hard working, have a good ability to communicate, work well in a team and will be able to use their intiative.
The successful applicant will be required to work 5 days per week. Trainee applicants will complete their course day from home once a week.
The opening hours of the practice are Mon-thurs 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-4pm. Pay is from 7.45am - 5.15pm with 1 hour for lunch between 1-2pm but can vary.
Training hourly rates are based on the national minimum wage for the age of the applicant and apprentice rate for the day at home whilst studying.
Unqualified applicants are required to have GCSE English and Maths at least C and above (or equivelent) to be accepted onto a course - please bring proof of this to the interview.
