POSITION SUMMARY: The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere. This role manages the front desk, answers phones, directs visitors, and provides clerical support to facility operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Answer phones courteously, direct calls, and take accurate messages. * Welcome and direct visitors, vendors, and applicants; maintain visitor log. * Provide accurate information to residents, families, and staff as requested. * Sort and distribute mail, packages, and messages promptly. * Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and data entry. * Support survey readiness through professional conduct and accurate records. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Organizational and clerical abilities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and phone systems. * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. REQUIRED: * High school diploma or equivalent. PREFERRED: * Experience in healthcare or office reception role. PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS * Prolonged sitting with occasional walking and standing. * Ability to lift 5--40 lbs and push wheelchairs as needed.
