We are seeking a Fulltime Registered On Call Nurse to join our team at Hospice of South Georgia, Inc. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in hospice settings, ensuring comfort and dignity during their final stages of life. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering compassionate care that aligns with our mission.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and primary care principles.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work compassionately with individuals facing developmental disabilities is a plus.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Jesup, GA 3154

• Administer nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team.
• Provide On-Call coverage for service area after regular business hours.
• Educate patients and families about end-of-life care options and resources.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.
• Effectively manage patients with acute symptoms by effectively using appropriate interventions.
