WHAT EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR? WE WOULD IDEALLY LIKE YOU TO HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE IN:

  • A retail or wholesale environment
  • Cash handling / till / checkout experience
  • Having good organisational skills and a grasp of basic numeracy

Responsibilities

SO WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS RETAIL ASSISTANT ROLE?

  • Working as part of a busy team, ensuring the best customer service is given to each customer
  • Welcoming customers into the store, supporting them with their shopping experience if needed
  • Providing excellent knowledge on products sold
  • Helping customers with their checkout experience
  • Involvement in regular stock replenishment.
  • Making sure the store looks inviting and tidy at all times
  • Answering customer phone calls in a professional manner
  • Supporting your colleagues where necessary

FOR THIS ROLE WE WOULD ALSO NEED YOU TO HAVE:

  • The ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • The drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable person who can build relationships with both customers and staff.
