JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a full-time Robotics Instructor to teach and lead our coding and robotics enrichment programs for children aged 4-16. The ideal candidate will have a passion for robotics, programming, and education, with experience in teaching and managing children in a classroom setting. As a Robotics Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective robotics curricula, managing and maintaining the robotics lab, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Experience in teaching and managing children in a classroom setting
-Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Scratch, and Java
-Familiarity with robotics equipment and software, such as Arduino, LEGO Mindstorms, and VEX Robotics
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging and effective curricula
-Ability to adapt to changing technology and education trends
-Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

-Develop and deliver robotics and coding curricula to students of various ages and skill levels
-Teach students how to use robotics equipment and programming software
-Manage and maintain the robotics lab, including equipment and supplies
-Evaluate student progress and provide feedback and support to students and parents
-Organize and lead robotics competitions and events
-Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in robotics technology and education
-Collaborate with other instructors and staff to plan and implement cross-disciplinary projects and events
-Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
-Participate in professional development and training opportunities
