Legacy Jewellers, a trusted family-owned jewelry store in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, is seeking a motivated full-time Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, enjoys working with fine jewelry, and is eager to help clients celebrate life’s special moments.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is required, with a focus on jewellery or related products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing inventory and completing tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills are required for accurate pricing and cash handling processes.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, are necessary for engaging with customers professionally.

Requirements

• Jewellery sales experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Basic computer skills for POS system, email, and scheduling tools.
• Reliability and flexibility to work weekdays and Saturdays (Sundays off).
• A passion for jewelry, fashion, and creating memorable customer experiences

• Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide expert assistance in selecting jewellery pieces.
• Inspect jewelry items that come in for repair and suggest what work needs to be done.
• Develop strong product knowledge in engagement rings, diamonds, custom designs, and other jewelry.
• Process sales transactions, special orders.
• Maintain store presentation, including displays and inventory organization.
• Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Support store events and promotions, ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Hours: ~32–44 hours per week (Monday–Saturday, Sundays closed)
• Wage: $18–$25/hour depending on experience plus 2% commission
