Through high-quality programs and caring adult mentorship, we create opportunities for kids and teens to grow into confident, capable, and community-minded individuals. Serving hundreds of youth daily across multiple sites, we provide a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment where children ages 5–18 can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Summary The role focuses on youth development outcomes, staff supervision, member engagement, safety, and community partnerships. This is a hands-on position ideal for an innovative, creative, energetic, and organized individual committed to making a positive difference in the lives of youth in a growing and developing program site. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Program Management Plan outcome-driven programs and activities that align with the Boys & Girls Club mission and Youth Development Outcomes. Ensure a healthy, safe, and inclusive environment for all members and staff. Support theme programming, youth-led activities, and BGCA-endorsed initiatives. Track attendance, participation, and program outcomes. Maintain accurate member and staff records, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Conduct safety checks and ensure facilities and materials meet health and safety standards. Assist with attendance tracking. Uphold Boys & Girls Club policies and serve as a role model of professionalism, integrity, and positive leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in working with youth or in youth development (Boys & Girls Club experience preferred). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal). Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain confidentiality, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must exhibit sound judgment, maturity, and professionalism when working with youth and families. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Interactions with youth in an active, energetic, and sometimes noisy environment. Includes moderate physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. All applicants will be required to pass a criminal offender record information check (CORI) and a national background check.
