The Faculty Club at the University of Toronto is a private members club in the heart of the iconic and historic downtown Toronto campus.
Job description
We require profession, full time/server to join our team. This position provides a high level of customer service to Club members and guests.
Typical Duties
Prepares all dining areas, lounges and function rooms for service.
As a server, provides immediate attention to all guests and members upon seating
Serves members and guests through provision of menus and product information
Takes orders, utilizing computer and manual systems provided for the purpose
Ensures understanding of all menus and changes
Serves beverages and food
Ensures food and beverages are prepared and presented according to standard
Ensures guest satisfaction
Removes empty glasses and cleans tables
Polishes glassware and silver
Provides food service and set up bar in accordance to functions sheets
Moves tables and chairs as needed
Experience
Smart Serve Certified
One (1) .year experience as a bar and food server with a strong customer relations.
Other
Physical ability to lift and transport heavy items.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.72 per hour
