RESPONSIBILITIES
Orders and serves food and beverages as per the DoubleTree by Hilton Food & Beverage service standards.
DUTIES
· Stocks and maintains service area.
· Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders, focusing on up selling at each opportunity.
· Ensures food orders are relayed to the Kitchen and picks up orders from the Kitchen.
· Serves food and beverages to guests as per set standards.
· Presents bills to guests and receives payment.
· Follow-up on guests needs.
· Removes dirty glasses, cutlery, and plates from tables and cleans tables.
· Carries used tableware to the service area, sorting, scraping and stacking for washing.
· Sets tables during rush hours.
· Cleaning and setting up stations, vacuuming floors and any spillage in the areas.
· Pick up napkins from housekeeping, and folding napkins in preparation for their shift and the following shift.
· Dropping off dirty linens to housekeeping/designated area, before shift ends.
· For all TAZA Grill+Bar staff, completes side duties such as folding napkins, stocking china and cutlery, filling and cleaning salt and pepper shakers, filling sugar bowls and filling juice, milk, coffee and espresso machines, service areas, etc.
· Balances cash and receipts, completes the cash report and deposits the receipts with the front desk, and deposits cash envelope in the safe deposit box at the end of the shift.
· Should be able bend, stand for long hours and carry up to 50lbs
· Must be SMART Serve Certified.
· Complies with hotel policies and procedures.
· Performs other tasks as assigned by Management.
· Available Weekdays, Weekends (Mornings and Evenings)
