Rutland Pet Hospital, in beautiful Kelowna BC, is looking for an amazing, caring, friendly, and highly organized person to fill the role of Client Care Coordinator. Your role is vital to the success of our hospital as you are the first and last contact the client has with us, whether it is in person, or on the phone. As a representative of our clinic, it is your primary job to ensure that the client and their pet feel welcomed, expertly cared for and immensely appreciated.
As the successful candidate you are able to communicate with all team members; have a good grasp on how use the computer, demonstrate professional phone techniques, follow all protocols put in place for a safe, environmentally friendly workplace; understand the principles of proper medical record keeping and uphold the necessary standard; deal tactfully and respectfully with all difficult situations that arise; maintain patient confidentiality at all times; attend all team building and training sessions; contribute positively to the hospital environment; show respect, empathy, and kindness to all clients, patients, and co-workers; are always an advocate for the animal.

We are looking for a permanent, full-time employee, available 5 days a week between 8am and 6pm.
Candidates MUST have prior experience at the front desk of a Veterinary Hospital, or have completed a Veterinary Office Assistant Program, to be considered. Starting wage is $20 an hour, depending on experience.
