We’re actively hiring Full-Time Tactical Security Guards for an outdoor residential complex in Burlington. In this role, you’ll safeguard people and property through visible presence, routine foot/vehicle patrols, and timely, accurate report writing, while delivering professional customer service. You’ll act in the company’s best interests at all times, deter unwanted behaviour, enforce site rules, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe, secure environment.

What you will do:
- Provide a high-visibility deterrent with calm, professional customer service
- Proactively detect & respond to suspicious activity
- Perform regular foot patrols
- Monitor risk areas and act on alarms/incidents
- Enforce the Trespass to Property Act (Ontario) and relevant Criminal Code provisions
- Preserve scenes/evidence, gather witness info, and complete accurate reports
- Maintain top-tier uniform standards and deportment
What you bring:

- Strong situational awareness, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable vehicle access for commute/assignments
Education / Experience:
- 3+ years tactical security experience
- Training in Tactical Communications and/or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Police Foundations / Law & Security studies (completed or in progress)
Special Certifications needed:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- CPR/First Aid Level C
- Standing/walking for 10-12 hours and working outdoors
- Reliably commute to Burlington, ON
- Available for Days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and short-notice call-ins
- Ontario Driver’s Licence & Vehicle an Asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20 per hour
