Description With approximately 32 properties that include over 6,000 apartments, Goldfarb Properties is a family-owned and managed business, offering the finest newly renovated apartments across five diverse regions. Goldfarb Properties is seeking an experienced maintenance porter for residential buildings located in Westchester County, NY. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager and/or Superintendent, porters are responsible for: * Maintaining cleanliness of interior/exterior of the building * Removing trash and operating trash compactor * Cleaning property common areas * Displaying care for property-owned maintenance equipment Requirements * Good communication skills * Prior maintenance/janitorial experience * Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in residential buildings * Ability to use floor machines and other cleaning equipment is a plus * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends * Team player * Highly motivated independent worker * Excellent time management skills and attention to detail * Experience with stripping/waxing floors a plus Compensation and Benefits * $21.65-$23.00/hour * 32 BJ union benefits package

Responsibilities

The porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building's interior and exterior, including common areas. They are also tasked with trash removal and the operation of maintenance equipment.
