Our rehabilitation therapists and assistants perform the majority of our patient treatments and develop close relationships with clients. Our growing department has dedicated rooms for therapeutic exercise, underwater treadmill, and VetSystems whirlpool, and we offer Class IV & Class IIIB LASER, therapeutic ultrasound, and PulseVet extracorporeal shockwave therapy. Requirements Rehabilitation Therapists must have at least 2 years prior experience as a veterinary assistant in a hospital setting. Certification in rehabilitation (CCRA, CCRVN, CCRP) is preferred; other related certifications (CCFT, COASM, massage) and/or canine training or competition experience is considered. Excellent client service skills, strong communication skills with co-workers, and a thorough understanding of canine and feline behavior are necessary. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs and have the ability to learn electronic medical record systems (EzyVet). Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, kneel, twist, and assist patients in a variety of positions. Hourly wage based on experience and certification. Comprehensive benefits package (health/dental/vision/life insurance, PTO, 401(k), CE, pet care, and uniforms) for full-time employees; part-time employees would also be considered.
