Description

The Medical Consulting Group (MCG) creative services team, based in Springfield, MO, is seeking a full-time Web Designer with a strong understanding of UX/UI principles. MCG specializes in crafting customized business solutions for medical practices and device manufacturers, and we’re looking for someone who can help elevate our digital experiences across multiple platforms.
This is not a remote position. You must work on-site at our Springfield office.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Centered Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience in web, graphic, and UX/UI design, with an emphasis on medical-based websites a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • Strong UX/UI design skills, including the ability to create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
  • Understanding of how design translates into functional code and how design decisions impact development.
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress, including website maintenance and updates.
  • Experience with responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first approaches.
  • Ability to conduct or interpret user research, usability testing, and apply insights to improve user experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Clarity or similar UX analytics tools to monitor user behavior and make informed design decisions.
  • Eye for selecting and editing high-quality imagery.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and ability to align design with brand identity.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Receptive to feedback, direction, and constructive critique.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in the field of digital design.
