Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking an experienced Full-time Sous Chef to work at Pathways Central Iowa, located at 7700 Hickman Road, Windsor Heights, IA 50324. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (schedule may vary slightly). Must be at least 21 years old to be considered for this position. This position will pay up to $25.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Job Duties & Skills Required What You Will Do The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen. Addtional responsbilties may be to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Dietitian is not available. Skills & Requirements Minimum age of 21 required for this position. Two (2) years of cooking experience at levels above fast food/fast casual is required. At least one (1) year of experience working with the elderly/frail population is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain if hired is required.
