WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We’re seeking a talented Fullstack Developer to build and enhance our internal and external map applications for visualizing and analyzing natural catastrophes. This role involves end-to-end feature development across the frontend, backend, database, and some DevOps responsibilities. We’re looking for candidates who value clean, high-quality code, follow rigorous testing practices, and are eager to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our team’s and company’s best practices. Ideally, you possess a strong foundation in front-end development and have experience architecting scalable solutions, particularly in transforming modular monoliths to support parallel development across multiple product teams.
As part of the Analysis Software Team – a central hub for full stack developers embedded within multidisciplinary product or platform teams with strong agile ways of working – you’ll report to the Analysis Software Team Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating within a product team to design and develop full-stack map applications for both internal and external users.
• Demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as a contributing member of a team.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

• Expertise in full-stack development with Python, Typescript, React, PostgreSQL and Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or cloud services (AWS).
