mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.
Working in the GovTech sector for our new brand SOVRA, we seek a FullStack Developer to join our team. As such, the FullStack Developer will be proficient in all aspects of software development, including implementing requirements, generating documentation, unit testing, troubleshooting, packaging and deploying solutions.

Responsibilities
  • In this role, you will be led to:
  • Deliver quality software. You’ll have end-to-end ownership of what you build, from initial requirements reviews and architecture to development and testing.
  • Understand, comply with and enforce development standards to ensure consistency across the more significant development team.
  • Be passionate about ensuring quality through solid test coverage for your code and by performing solid code reviews.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure specifications are being metRemain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.

    • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with a problem-solving mindset.

    • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for collaboration across teams in Canada and the U.S.
    • At least five (5) years of software development experience
    • Solid understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns.
    • Strong object-oriented programming background with hands-on experience in Java (highly preferred).
    • Experience in UI development with modern frameworks including Angular and React, strong grasp of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, and jQuery.
    • Proficiency working with XML and XSLT in enterprise applications or legacy systems; experience adapting or modernizing transformation logic.
    • Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of APIs (RESTful services and microservices), with a focus on scalability and integration.
    • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native development practices.
    • Strong understanding of databases, including working with large datasets, and both relational (e.g., SQL Server) and non-relational databases.
    • Competent with version control systems, particularly GitLab and related workflows.
    • Understanding of Agile Software Development and tools likes JIRA and Confluence for Project management and documentation, respectively.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
