We’re searching for a Visualization Tools Engineer to join Aurora’s Motion Planning Systems group. The Motion Planning Systems group is responsible for accelerating development & debugging workflows for the core of the planner. In this role, you will Build 2D & 3D quantitative visualizations for debugging core planner components Enhance core planner components to improve observability & architecture Create tooling to speed up software development iteration Unify workflows for tabular data and log data Collaborate closely with core planner engineers Required Qualifications Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience Experience interfacing with product users in a tight feedback loop BS software engineering, mathematics or physics or similar Desirable Qualifications Knowledge of Three.js & MobX libraries Basic C++ Basic Python Full-stack web Linear Algebra Robotics experience ML experience The base salary range for this position is $126K - $201K per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
