C&A is a multinational retail clothing brand, with stores in all Europe. We are currently collaborating with their e-commerce division, with the headquarters in Düsseldorf (Germany), you will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain) or from home. What you'll be doing We are looking for Front-end Engineers to come and join our team, where they will create responsive web applications using the latest JavaScript technologies like React and Cloudflare Workers. Engineers are encouraged to contribute to all areas of the product, from Backend to DevOps. As a result, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies and methodologies, such as Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda and Serverless implementations, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Docker, Terraform, and CloudFormation. Build high traffic user interfaces with JavaScript and React/React Native, Vue.js or Angular Work on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimize UX and conversion rates Cooperate with skilled developers, managers, QA’s, and designers to ship new components and features Draft architectural decisions together with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies Have a direct impact on team processes by regular retrospectives Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our One C&A Family What you'll bring Very good coding skills in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS / SCSS), JavaScript and Typescript Professional experience with JS Frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular or similar Frameworks Experience with Component Driven User Interfaces & component Libraries e.g. Storybook Rich experience in using REST and/or GraphQL Interfaces (e.g. apollo client / Server) Practise in build tools like Webpack or Npm, Testing Frameworks like Jest and CI/CD Pipelines like gitlab or bitbucket as well as version controls systems like git Comfortable working with TypeScript or ES6 Good background in building complex customer-facing products coming along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check Used to work in an English-speaking environment What we offer ⛴ Being part of dynamic and highly motivated international multicultural team of skilled professionals. ⚖️ Flexible working model: You can choose the work model that fits your lifestyle (At office, hybrid or full remote) ⛱ 23 holiday days. ✔️ Private health insurance from day 1. ⛹ Gym Sponsorship. ✏️ English and German language classes. ✊ A young and ambitious team that knows when to work but also when to have fun (Pizza day, Summer event, Padel Tournaments, etc).
