We are seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable individual to join our dental team as a Dental Nurse with Receptionist duties. This dual role requires both chairside assistance during clinical procedures and front desk duties such as greeting patients, managing appointments, and handling administrative tasks. You will be a vital part of ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and clinical staff alike.

Responsibilities

WE’RE HIRING! DENTAL NURSE WITH RECEPTIONIST DUTIES

Location: Harleston Dental and Aesthetics Clinic, 24-26 Redenhall Rd Harleston IP20 9ER.
Hours: To be discussed
With the requirement to work additional hours to cover where needed.
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

DENTAL NURSING DUTIES:

  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
  • Maintain infection control procedures and sterilization of instruments.
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and work areas.
  • Support patients before, during, and after treatment, ensuring comfort and care.
  • Accurately record clinical notes and update patient records.
  • Assist with stock control and ordering of dental materials.
  • Follow all CQC and health & safety guidelines.

RECEPTION DUTIES:

  • Welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using the practice management system.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Handle patient check-ins, billing and payments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and information.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff.
