We have an exciting opportunity for qualified electrical engineers / Solar PV / EV Charging engineers for renewable energy projects to join our growing team. Applicants must be flexible to work in various sectors and to travel when required. Full training/ progression plans provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) or working towards achieving
  • Inspection and Testing Certification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 for electrical engineers) or working towards achieving
  • AM2/AM2S Certification (for engineers who have completed an apprenticeship) or working towards achieving
  • Renewable Technologies (Solar PV, Battery Storage/EV Chargers) – City & Guilds or equivalent BPEC or working towards achieving
  • Valid ECS Card

DESIRABLE CERTIFICATES / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • First Aid at Work Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Ladder Safety
  • Working at Heights

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Industry knowledge

  • You should have a working knowledge of all current Health and Safety legislation and best practice
  • Be able to communicate technical information to customers and colleagues which is meaningful

  • Used to self-managing, prioritising workloads and ensuring tasks are completed on time.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain solar PV systems, battery storage units, and EV charging stations using hand and power tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including First Aid and Asbestos Awareness.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project tasks.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, ensuring all certifications are up to date.
