• Hours of work: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday (overtime available)
• Pay: Competitive dependant on experience

We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are carried out safely and effectively.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Driving Licence
• 18th Edition BS7671
• Level 2 & 3 2365 Electrical Installations
• NVQ Level 3/AM2 (desirable)
• 2391 Inspection and Testing (preferred)
• Own tools
• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory
