JOB DESCRIPTION:

MPW Marketing, in Clinton, NY, is looking for an Advertising Account Executive / Project Manager
This is a permanent full-time position of up to 40 hours per week with the option for remote work.
The Account Manager serves as a vital link between the agency team and its clients. You’ll be responsible for the effective management and execution of all elements in clients’ marketing programs and must be a quick study learning about clients’ businesses. You must demonstrate a high level of expertise in leveraging the agency’s capabilities and the ability to match client needs to the agency’s resources and experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-year College Degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an account executive or equivalent experience in a marketing setting. Candidates with working experience in traditional and digital marketing preferred.
  • A high degree of proficiency in Excel and Word.
Responsibilities

· Acts as primary liaison between the agency and the client. Facilitates and coordinates communication and meetings between client and other agency employees as necessary. This includes client approvals of strategies, budgets and creative work, as well as co-op partner approvals of plans and creative as needed. Provides the client with regular updates on agency work undertaken by the agency on the client’s behalf.
· Works with Partners, Creative Director, Design Director, Media Department and Web Department to plan, coordinate, and manage campaigns for agency clients.
· Guides day-to-day development of advertising activities within approved plans. Ensures that progressive stages of campaigns are approved with adequate time for execution by the agency. Works with Media Department to develop and maintain client budgets. Provides agency employees with the information necessary to perform their roles in execution of initiatives on behalf of the client, including media traffic information.
· Forecasts future client revenue. Creates and maintains client files within the agency. Tracks time on projects, identifies inefficiencies, and proposes solutions to maximize agency profits. Monitors effectiveness of campaigns and campaign components, analyzes data, and proposes improved strategies when necessary.
· Recruits new agency clients & build proposals for new business
· Assists in the creative communication process and works closely with the creative team
