Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Fully Remote Secret Cleared Network Detection Engineer to support a DoD end-client based out of Fairfax, VA. The Fully Remote Secret Cleared Network Detection Engineer Systems Engineer will be responsible for fortifying the cybersecurity of government networks and systems.

Responsibilities of the Fully Remote Secret Cleared Network Detection Engineer Systems Engineer includes:

  • Leverage cloud solutions to meet zero trust principles of federal cyber security posturing.
  • Monitor end-to-end system health, maintenance tasks (patching and troubleshooting), and automation of deployment scaling and monitoring.
  • Configure CoreLight network security monitoring for deep network traffic analysis.

Qualifications for the Fully Remote Secret Cleared Network Detection Engineer Systems Engineer includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-8 years of experience (4+ years experience in lieu of formal degree)
  • Strong experience with CoreLight for network security monitoring
  • Experience configuring, deploying and/or using network detection and response (NDR) tools
  • Ability to obtain a United States Public Trust Clearance

Compensation for the Secret Cleared Digital Infrastucture Systems Engineer includes:

  • Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
