POSITION SUMMARY

As a Remote Special Education Teacher serving New Mexico students in 912, you will deliver individualized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, and collaborate virtually with families, general education teachers, and support staffall from a home-based workspace.

• Provide live virtual instruction aligned with student IEP goals in both small groups and one-on-one settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with IDEA and New Mexico Public Education Department regulations
• Facilitate virtual IEP meetings, progress updates, and conferences with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation including IEPs, service logs, progress reports, and compliance records
• Utilize digital learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas) and assistive technology to enhance instruction
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure coherent support and inclusion
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs, accommodations, and modifications
