JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for candidates with fashion degrees or currently studying towards a fashion degree at a Greater Manchester university (other degrees and candidates will be considered). Some of our current staff are students at the University of Salford, MMU and University of Huddersfield. You should have customer facing experience from within a retail background. Our customer core demographic is 18 to 60 years of age and we are ideally seeking candidates with a similar demographic. All of our events take place in the evening with a typical shift beginning around 3pm and finishing around 1am. Those candidates without transport will be given a lift home at the end of the shift.
The shows take place Monday to Saturday and are usually held in village halls, schools and churches. The role is flexible… you can choose which days you wish to work so it can be worked around a university degree or another job.
On arrival at the venue, you will help unload the clothing and set up the show. Once the show starts you will be modelling some of the clothes we have on sale (9 outfits). Afterwards, the guests can try on and shop the clothing. You will assist customers with sales, tidy the stock and help take till payments.
At the end of the night you will help pack up and load everything back into the van. You will then travel back to the office with the team. You are paid from the time you leave the office (Stalybridge) in the van until you return back. Most shifts are between 9 - 11 hours long.
