As a General Manager (GM), you are the business leader of the park — responsible for driving revenue, optimizing operations, creating a strong team culture, and ensuring our mission is delivered to thousands of guests each month. You’ll lead by example, manage department leaders, and bring strategic discipline to every part of the operation — from birthday party satisfaction to team accountability and long-term growth. RESPONSIBILITIESTeam Leadership & Guest Experience Lead a team of 20–50 employees, including Assistant Managers, Leads, and Social Media/Party Coordinators Create a high-performance culture through recognition, accountability, and coaching Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, promotions, and performance management Model FUNBOX brand values by delivering an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint Proactively resolve guest issues and follow up with thorough documentation Operations, Revenue & Expense Management Own park Profit & Loss (P&L), cost controls, labor budgeting, and operational efficiency Drive revenue across ticket sales, birthday parties, merchandise, and events Monitor KPIs and train staff to understand their role in achieving performance targets Collaborate with marketing to execute local campaigns and community outreach Ensure cleanliness, inventory accuracy, and vendor coordination across departments Safety, Compliance & Facility Oversight Oversee all safety training, emergency response readiness, and compliance protocols Ensure OSHA and internal safety procedures are followed daily Manage maintenance requests, equipment checks, and cleanliness standards Close attractions or adjust staffing when needed for safety Complete and review daily reports on operations, incidents, and team status Requirements QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of general management experience in high-volume environments (family entertainment, retail, fitness, hospitality, or events preferred) 2+ years of experience managing sales targets and team KPIs Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and inventory control Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first approach Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and reporting tools Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs Passion for working with kids and families in a fast-paced, energetic setting PERFORMANCE METRICS Revenue growth and budget adherence Guest satisfaction and review scores Birthday party and event success Labor and operational efficiency Staff retention, development, and culture Safety, cleanliness, and compliance audit scores COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Bonus opportunities tied to revenue and performance Paid time off Flexible schedule and training support Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off Paid training Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred)
