Role: Functional Analyst
Location: Belgium - Leuven
You will work on the future of reward program and collaborating with a diverse team to deliver new innovative features to our clients.
In our Group Applications Services department we build the necessary applications and components to help realize the absolute forefront of our strategy.
We build the applications not only for Belgium but also for other countries of the banking Group.
You will work in our Programmable Money stream where we work on expanding our programmable money platform, reward program for internal products and commercialization with partners. We work all year round on new features, optimizing our architecture and making sure our solutions remain future proof.
You will work in a team to develop an idea, support its development and roll it out to our customers.
You communicate & coordinate with developers, project leads, business analysts, UX, communication, analytics, accessibility & interfacing teams to assure a qualitative delivery of new features.
You do this by creating user stories that build up the feature and consequently plan them according to the availabilities of the developers such that the estimated delivery timelines are respected.
You take a leading role in the implementation of user stories; doing the daily follow up and giving the necessary support where needed. You convey the knowledge of the new features through specifically designed preparation meetings.
You will do the functional validation of the delivered user stories.
You give input and insights to the QA-testers to ensure that proper testcases can be written and business validation can be executed.
You estimate workload that is required to build the features and communicate this to the stakeholders such that cyclic plannings can be made. Once the features have been planned, you commit to them and communicate pro-actively in case of any deviation.
You are in close contact with all interface teams. With them you take the lead in coordinating the work, such that the teams deliver within an acceptable timeframe. Moreover, at any time, you are capable of making a quick assessment on how each of the committed features is advancing.
During the testing period you take up a coordinating role. You inform the testers, you make sure that the incoming front-end bugs are properly assigned to the development team. You assist and help investigating the root cause whenever required. You help the testers such that all committed features can be finalized successfully on time.
