Full Time role based in either Sydney - North Ryde (preferably), Brisbane or Melbourne CBD.
The Functional Analyst will help ensure our Asset Management suite of around 10 integrated applications (TrainDNA) underpinned by Maximo is utilised and operates to its full potential. Downer has long-term contracts to maintain over 200 trains. Our world class solution services hundreds of users 24x7 largely based in Train Maintenance sites in NSW and VIC, soon to be joined by QLD. Working along with other Asset Management specialists, the focus of this role is to help Downer achieve its vision to be the industry leading asset maintenance provider, through the implementation and optimisation of digital tools and analytics.

Reporting into Continuous Service and improvement (CSI) team, you will be supporting business process improvement initiatives and the continued development of the TrainDNA applications through requirements/ specifications, configurations and conducting testing activities. You will undertake detailed functional and/or data analysis, identify, and prioritise work related to business system requirements, solutions design, and will be part of SME group with enhanced soft skills that will develop and maintain the digital solutions, and engage with internal and external partners providing resources for continuous improvement and enhancement projects.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to document requirements. You will analyse functional and data needs from multiple sources to generate actionable insights and recommendations. Additionally, you will support technology team to implement functional solutions and address any data-related issues.
