OVERVIEW

As an analyst in operations, maintenance and development of systems and infrastructures, you contribute to IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and developing business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers while meeting the needs of the organization.
Your role consists of analyzing and diagnosing problems or complex situations related to the deployment or upgrade of technological solutions in alignment between business needs and the functions of the selected solution modules.
You respond to requests for developments or fixes of medium to high complexity.
You provide advice in accordance with the rules of your discipline and guidance for recommending solutions for improving or optimizing standards, policies and programs.
You propose appropriate implementation plans.
The nature of the files and projects requires extensive knowledge in your field.
You act as a coordinator in the planning, design, and execution of mandates, projects, and activities. You contribute to solving complex problems requiring analysis and detailed knowledge of the business domain. Coordination is frequent. You are called upon to interact with various stakeholders working in complementary areas of expertise related to technologies.
You act as a resource person in your field for your unit, dedicated customers and partners.

Required :

• A minimum of four years of experience as a functional analyst, including two to three years of experience in a Z-OS/cobol environment.

Technology park:

• Advanced knowledge of environments: MVS Z-OS, ISPF (PC 3270)
• Advanced knowledge of the following languages: jcl, jclproc, sysin and cobol
• Knowledge of the following languages: rexx, clist, sas, SQL “Single Query Language”
• Knowledge of distributed version control utilities: Endevor and GIT
• Knowledge of workload automation utilities: Control-M

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC H3B 5H4
