Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Functional Lead – UKG Pro to join the MyTime + MyPay program at Downer. This is a 2-year maximum term contract, with strong potential for extension, supporting a large-scale transformation to simplify and standardise our time-to-pay landscape. In this role, you will bridge business operations and system design, ensuring workforce practices, business requirements, and workforce data are accurately captured and translated into scalable, standardised configuration within UKG Pro. You will play a key role in driving consistency, improving data integrity, and enabling sustainable workforce management practices across the organisation. Key Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate functional SMEs across payroll, HR, operations, and workforce scheduling  *  Capture, validate, and translate workforce requirements and Industrial Instruments and into functional specifications for UKG Pro configuration  * Facilitate discovery workshops to understand workforce structures, scheduling practices, and operational requirements  * Partner with implementation teams to ensure accurate system configuration aligned to operational and compliance requirements * Provide oversight on configuration decisions impacting workforce processes and payroll outcomes  * Ensure workforce data is validated, governed, and aligned with enterprise data standards  * Support testing activities (SIT/UAT), validating system functionality and resolving functional issues  * Drive standardisation and identify opportunities to simplify workforce processes and improve system capability  What You Will Bring * Experience in workforce management system implementations (ideally UKG Pro or similar platforms)  * Strong understanding of workforce operations, scheduling, Industrial Instruments, payroll dependencies, and compliance requirements  * Proven experience leading functional SME teams within large transformation or system implementation programs  * Ability to translate operational business requirements into system configuration and functional design  * Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills across business and technical teams  * High attention to detail with strong analytical capability, particularly when working with workforce data  * Experience supporting system testing phases (SIT/UAT) and resolving functional issues   * Ability to drive alignment and standardisation across complex operational environments Benefits Of Working with Downer * Work with an ASX listed company, working with market leaders. * Grow your career with us, we are passionate about giving our people opportunities to grow through personal and professional development and continuous learning: * Professional development programs * Access to professional memberships and industry networks * Be part of a team that cares, we foster a work environment built on support that is flexible around our employee’s wellbeing needs: * Flexible work arrangements * Parental leave * Employee Assistance Program * Programs promoting diversity and inclusion * A range of Corporate Benefits, including:  * Discounted services (car hires, hotels, insurance, retail stores, gyms)  Why Downer?
