Key Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Instrument and Protective Systems (I&PS) Engineer who has a good understanding of IEC 61511 SIS Lifecycle model and has working knowledge and experience of the key SIS Lifecycle activities.

  • Participate in HAZOP \ CHAZOP Activities.
  • Participate in Deterministic SIL Workshops as C&I Engineer.
  • Develop SRS � Safety Requirements Specification.
  • Develop SIS Safety Lifecycle Plan \ Functional Safety Management Plan.
  • Carry out SIL Verification using simplified equations.
  • Experience is use of proven tools such as TRAC \ ExSILentia for SIL Verification.
  • Evaluation and verfication of HIPPS Systems.
  • Produce SIS Proof Test Procedures for end to end testing of entire SIF Loop.
  • Development of Maintenance strategies for Layers of Protections where credit has been taken as part of Risk Assessment \ SIL workshop.
  • Assist with producing ARM � Alarm Response Manual.
  • Review of HMI Philosophy for SIS.
  • Work on Onshore and Offshore projects (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream).
  • Modelling of complex SIS Loops using Fault Trees.
  • Familiar with Failure Mode Effect Analysis.

QUALIFICATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate will be have a Master�s degree, Chartered Engineers will be given preference. CFSE or TUV certified engineers will proven experience will be considered.
