FUNCTIONAL SAFETY ENGINEER

As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of safety-critical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safety management system development and continuous improvement process and internal training of engineering teams
• Functional safety audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvementParticipate in our safety management system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, testing, deployment) and provide guidance and support to teams regarding safety-related design, implementation, and verification activities

• Functional Safety management in customer deployment projects supporting the project management activities ensuring that functional safety will be achieved with relevant safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 21448)Plan and facilitate customer deployment specific hazard analysis and risk assessments and prepare necessary risk reduction measures including definition of safety goals for safety-critical systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience of overall functional safety management including responsibility of safety planning
• Knowledge of functional safety standards, such as ISO26262, IEC 61508, or equivalent
• Proficiency in safety analysis techniques, such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and HAZOP
• Experience with safety-related system deployments, safety verification and validation activities, functional safety assessment
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools used in safety-critical system development
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering functional safety projects
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
