Job Description Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual with a BTech in Information Security to join our Functional Security Architecture (FSA) group. As an FSA, you will work with various business functions’ technology teams to ensure solutions are securely designed, following approved security patterns and providing ongoing security consulting and expertise Job Description Major accountabilities: Security Architecture Design and Review: Work closely with various business and IT stakeholders to design secure solutions that meet business needs while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices. Conduct thorough security reviews of proposed solutions to ensure they meet applicable enterprise security controls, standards, and design specifications. Security Assessments Guidance: Assess the security requirements of new solutions and determine applicable security assessments such as penetration tests, static application security scans and dynamic application security scans. Vulnerability Remediation Support: Assist developers and engineers in resolving identified security vulnerabilities, providing tailored guidance to ensure secure development / deployment. Ongoing Guidance and Consultation: Provide ongoing security guidance and consultation to business and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle. Minimum Requirements: BTech in Information Security. Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies. Knowledge of security architecture for infrastructure, cloud, and applications. Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as NIST, and CIS Controls. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Work Experience: NA. Skills: Internships or work experience in the cybersecurity domain. Participation in open-source projects or initiatives related to cybersecurity. Leadership or active involvement in cybersecurity clubs, competitions, or events. Understanding of cloud security aspects related to AWS and Azure. Knowledge of standard security topics related to identity and access management (e.g., federation, single sign-on), encryption (e.g., PKI, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, and hashing) and API security (e.g. oAuth, cert-based integrations, API gateway integrations) Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and their remediation strategies.
