As a Functional Skills Tutor, you’ll deliver intensive courses in English and Maths at L1/L2 which form a key component of Apprenticeship standards. You will be delivering to mixed groups of Soldiers at your base location Bulford, online, and at other military sites when required.

KEY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching and assessment of Functional Skills English and Maths within intensive courses.
• Completing and maintaining accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and achievement.
• Experience of providing face to face and remote support to learners.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Teams.
• Relevant teaching qualification e.g., CTLLs, Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLs (or equivalent).
• A minimum level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics.
