REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Image Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or other related degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience providing guidance and direction in high technology programs.
  • Senior-level or higher experience in guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as:
  • engineering and technology
  • policy and administration
  • program management
  • planning
  • analysis
  • training and development
  • facilities
  • communications
  • visual design
  • human capital
  • business

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec), firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex security problems.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for troubleshooting security issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Image Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or other related degree program.
  • Senior-level or higher experience in engineering, design and analysis of IT or related systems experience in all phases of design, development, analysis and documentation, and development of standards and guidelines for tasks being performed.
  • Senior-level or higher experience working with DoD/IC Acquisition Process or PPBES.
  • Experience with Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, or Image Science.
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Security System Design & Deployment: Implement and upgrade new security assets such as software, hardware, and network security components in a virtual and/or physical environment.
  • Security Maintenance: Maintain and repair existing security systems, replacing or upgrading them as needed.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct system scans and other simulations to find weaknesses in IT infrastructure and develop/mitigate findings.
  • Reporting & Recommendations: Document findings from security tests and breaches, and present recommendations for security enhancements to management.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and manage security policies and best practices to prevent future attacks and incidents.
