Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units at IKEA Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs.
WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A FUNCTIONAL SPECIALIST WITH A CURIOS, AGILE AND PROBLEM SOLVING MINDSET!
Job description
Are you passionate about advancing IKEA’s mission to enhance everyday life for many by driving digital development that delivers value to both business and end-users? Do you thrive in engaging with stakeholders, identifying improvement opportunities, and bringing new ideas to life through teamwork? Can you seamlessly transition from a big-picture perspective to detailed execution, facilitating dialogue between business and developers? If so, you may be the one we’re looking for!
As a Functional Specialist, you will ensure that users of our digital tools have access to relevant, user-friendly, and reliable applications that support their business objectives. You will bridge the gap between business needs and development teams with your specialist knowledge of our digital products. Your deep understanding of both business and end-user requirements, combined with a general knowledge of digital tool development, will be essential in this role. Your core expertise will lie in functional specialization, but you will have ample opportunities to develop new skills aligned with our development agenda. This role will involve contributing to business development activities across various domains, allowing for continuous learning and growth. Additionally, you will lead and mentor the support team, ensuring quality support for end users through education and coaching.
In Supply Chain Planning Development, Functional Specialists ensure that digital products are user-friendly, relevant, and aligned with business goals. They are involved in business development, lifecycle management, daily operations, and enhancements. Their focus is on addressing tactical and operational needs within specific applications, driving domain-specific requirements and end-user engagement.
