QUALIFICATIONS

• Competent Functional/Lead Tester as per RIW
• Functional Tester IRSE Licence or working towards or RIW equivalent
• C Class Drivers Licence
• Construction Card
• WA “C” Class Electrical Trade Qualified (desirable)
• CERT IV Signalling (desirable)

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Experience on Pilbara Networks (preferable

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Test & Commissioning Lead, the Functional tester is responsible for undertaking testing and inspection activities to ensure compliance with design and standards, and suitable for handover.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Undertake Functional testing of signalling systems and equipment
• Test and inspect activities of signalling systems.
• Undertake tests/checks to ensure compliance with design and specifications
• Undertake Functional testing and commissioning or level crossings
• Provide testing evidence for the work package and ensure all documentation and protocols are followed.
• Ensure all testing schemes are carried out in a safe manner.
• Ensure effective communication maintained with stakeholders
