Job Description About the role Brookfield is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional with accounting experience to join the Korea Fund Finance team. This position goes beyond a typical accounting role, involving a wide range of fund operations and financial reporting activities across Brookfield’s Korean Real Estate Fund Entities (REFs). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fund management, financial analysis, and investor reporting, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors in a dynamic, global environment. Responsibilities: Support the reporting and operations of multiple real estate investments and holding structures Assist in the set-up, operation, and liquidation processes of Korean REFs Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with different GAAPs (Korean GAAP and IFRS) Assist in the external audit and tax reporting processes with Big 4 firms Compile and analyse financial data and operating metrics for quarterly reporting packages submitted to internal and external stakeholders Maintain accurate books and records for the investment vehicles Partner closely with external service providers Support liquidity monitoring, capital call and distribution processes, and wire execution Coordinate with other departments to fulfill fund operations, reporting requirements and responding to inquiries from investors Assist in management fee and waterfall calculations Prepare investor reporting and collaborate with internal teams on fund operations Participate in other related tasks, internal reporting and special projects as requested About You 3-7 years of experience in accounting Experience in PE real estate or fund accounting strongly preferred Hands-on, with high standards for accuracy and quality, and thorough and meticulous with strong attention to detail Strong understanding of IFRS and Korean GAAP principles, and solid technical financial reporting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and focus on cross-functional communication Ability to multitask effectively and manage time well to meet multiple reporting deadlines Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Certified Public Accountant qualification preferred Brookfield Asset Management does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies.
