WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our client’s Fund Operations team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of Fund Accounting for Hedge Funds, from operational tasks to Financial Reporting duties. Your ability to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and collaborate effectively with your team will be key to your success in this role. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organisation.

• Reporting directly to the Head of Fund Accounting, ensuring smooth operational processes
• Taking charge of Financial Reporting duties for funds within private markets
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient fund operations
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as necessary
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments

The ideal candidate for the Fund Accountant role will bring a wealth of fund accounting experience, ideally within Hedge Funds. A CA/CPA qualification would be highly regarded. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, while your strong attention to detail will ensure accuracy in all your work. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and your commitment to continuous improvement will set you apart.

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable
• 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within Hedge Funds
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvement
