JOB PURPOSE/ROLE Within the Finance Department of Allianz S.p.A., the “Fund Pricing & Investment Operations” team is responsible for managing Unit Linked Net Asset Calculation, Securities operations and Master Data in accordance with all Regulatory and Group requirements related to the investment portfolios of the insurance and financial companies of Allianz S.p.A. Group. As part of the role, the candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in special projects and to work together with colleagues from other teams and foreign companies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The key responsibilities of the role are listed below: End-to-end investment operational process and related reporting (Group and local regulatory), ensuring both deadlines and data quality; Relationship with other business and control departments involved in closing and reporting activities and support to auditors, management and other corporate functions; Investment portfolios analysis and evaluation of investments in all the relevant accounting frameworks Analyzing and inputting securities transactions into dedicated system, ensuring bank reconciliation and compliance with the financial documentation and accounting standards; Active participation to special projects: M&A (e.g., acquisition of external portfolios within internal systems and processes); Group (e.g., shift to new accounting system); Internal (e.g., improved efficiency and governance of current investment system, optimization of investments input master data and data quality) KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE University degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent; Experience: 2/3 years in the Finance or Investment Department of a financial company or as a consultant with focus on Investments; Background: knowledge of Insurance local, IFRS and Solvency II accounting principles applied to investment portfolios; Proficient with Office Suite and programming languages (i.e. Python); Nice-to-have: acquired knowledge of SOFIA and SAP; Fluent in English; Ability to engage and interact with different stakeholders; Ability to work in flexible teams and to establish a constructive working climate; Proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
