POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Manager, Community Relations, the Fund Development Administrator is responsible for the administrative tasks related to the Community Relations strategy. This includes managing donor records on the DonorPerfect database, ensuring data accuracy and reporting, and supporting analytics for strategic decision-making. A key deliverable is to maintain strong information management and donor relations systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, business administration or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years in data management, analysis and reporting, preferably in a non-profit environment; Related experience in reconciling financial data and supporting audit processes is an asset
  • Familiarity with fundraising best practices, donor stewardship, and compliance standards (AFP Code of Ethical Standards, Imagine Canada Standards, CRA guidelines) is an asset
  • The Core Brain Story Certification through The Alberta Family Wellness Initiative is an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong technical skills and ability to utilize technology to support fundraising, including database management and analysis.
  • Proficiency in data entry, database management, and data quality assurance
  • Ability to generate meaningful reports and interpret data to support decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey data findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Capacity and drive for innovation, critical thinking and problem solving;
  • Superior attention to detail;
  • Ability to organize multiple concurrent projects while responding quickly to emerging needs;
  • Experience with donor management systems, particularly Donor Perfect is an asset
