Description
The Senior Associate plays a key role in maintaining the global daily operations of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR). This position supports equity trading activity and ensures accurate, timely delivery of portfolio and security data to global portfolio managers, traders, and risk partners. Operating within a finance operations environment, the role focuses on data integrity, operational controls, and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities: Maintain Daily IBOR Operations Executes and oversees daily processes required to produce the global Investment Book of Record, delivering accurate records to global portfolio managers and risk analysts. Ensure Data Accuracy & Control Analyzes cash flow, transaction activity, and portfolio holdings to validate accurate calculation and distribution of portfolio and security data. Identifies potential control gaps, escalates issues, and supports timely resolution. Manage Workflow & Priorities Handles multiple data inputs and competing priorities to meet global service levels. Leverages knowledge of funds, securities, and trading activity to support creation of accurate “gold‑copy” data. Partner & Problem Solve Collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve reconciliation breaks and process issues. Contributes to researching, recommending, and implementing process improvements. Oversee Operational Controls Ensures daily controls are completed, documented, and adhered to. Verifies end‑to‑end process completion and supports the team in maintaining a strong operational risk environment. Support Projects & Enhancements Executes work efforts related to new process implementations, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Special Assignments Contributes to ad‑hoc projects and performs additional duties as needed to support the broader operations team. Qualifications: Minimum of one year of relevant financial operations or investment support experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Accounting or Finance preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
