Our client, Vanguard, is seeking a Middle Office Trades Support Analyst to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global function that supports all trade activity conducted on behalf of all Vanguard funds. The successful candidate will have the chance to oversee and execute daily operational tasks, monitor various controls and procedures, and serve as an escalation point for resolving technical issues. What you’ll do:

• Serve as subject matter and technical expert, identifying and resolving complex fund and investment operational issues.
• Analyse cash flow, transaction, and portfolio holdings data.
• Lead process improvements efforts, complete comprehensive analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Document procedures across all fund and investment product types.
• Maintain communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues.
• Oversee daily operation, manage controls and verify completion of processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and proactively propose solutions.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Minimum of two years related work experience and one year industry experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical issues.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications preferred.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills.
