Description
Overview of Role/Principle Responsibilities: The Fund Mandate team provides comprehensive operational and coordination support on all fund-related matters. This role is central to reviewing accounting and valuation reports from the fund administrator, liaising with the transfer agency regarding trade matters, and assisting in the review of semi-annual and annual fund reports. The team also addresses requests and queries from both internal and external clients and is responsible for a range of fund-related reporting tasks.   Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and ensure high performance standards of third-party suppliers through effective vendor management. * Review fund accounting records and valuation reports. * Update and disseminate fund Net Asset Value (NAV) on a daily basis. * Process regulatory obligations including, but not limited to, FATCA and CRS requirements. * Respond to client queries via email, helpline, website, and in-person visits. * Coordinate and submit unit trust transactions to the fund’s transfer agent (TA). * Liaise with the TA and Finance team to resolve transactional and payment issues. * Assist in the continuous update and maintenance of departmental procedure manuals. * Ensure all relevant documentation is current for new fund launches. * Perform other ad hoc or administrative duties as required.   Skills and Behaviours Required: * Demonstrated experience in fund operations, with the capability to perform assigned tasks independently, while seeking guidance as needed. * Sound understanding of fund mechanics and unit trust structures. Fund accounting experience would be advantageous. * Working knowledge of transfer agency and fund administration processes. * Strong track record in fund operations. * Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel at an intermediate level. * High level of attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively to support business objectives. * Collaborative team player, willing to provide support to colleagues when needed. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
