Client Operations Associate - Funds

London (Hybrid): 3 Days per week in office, 2 days WFH

Package: £40k - £50k base DOE + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus 15%

Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Looking for a fresh challenge where your attention to detail and client-first attitude will genuinely be noticed? This is your chance to join the Fund Operations Team, a specialist function within the wider Client Services division of a well-established, fast-growing investment manager, right at the heart of London's financial services sector.

This is a primarily operational role, with around 20-30% of your time spent on client interaction via phone and email. You'll be joining a close-knit team of 18, working across the full client operations lifecycle for a business managing billions in assets on behalf of financial advisers, wealth managers, family offices and private investors.

What you'll be doing

  • Client & Data Management - Maintaining accurate client, transaction and account data, and generating and distributing client reports.
  • Onboarding, Dealing & Settlement - Processing new client onboarding applications, inputting and validating trades, and supporting cash settlement.
  • Cash Management & Quarterly Fund Distributions - Handling client payments, bank reconciliations, and owning the end-to-end quarterly fund distribution process.
  • Client Enquiries & Call Handling - Resolving client email enquiries within industry-leading SLAs and managing inbound/outbound calls.
  • Continuous Improvement - Getting involved in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements and ad hoc projects.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in an operational role within financial services, ideally asset management, wealth management or a related environment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, quick to learn and comfortable adapting to new systems and processes.
  • Desirable: prior exposure to fund administration, dealing/settlement systems, or a relevant industry qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.

What's in it for you

Alongside your salary, you'll get hybrid and flexible working, pension with salary exchange, an Employee Assistance Programme, peer-to-peer recognition, and access to a further range of benefits after probation - including private medical insurance, income protection, enhanced leave policies, a season ticket loan, a cycle scheme, and £100 of shares in one of the firm's funds every birthday.

If you've held any of these roles, this role could be a great fit: Client Services Associate, Funds Operations Associate, Investment Operations Administrator, Client Operations Executive, Trade Support Administrator, Fund Administrator, Dealing and Settlements Administrator, Client Services Administrator, Investment Administrator, Transfer Agency Administrator, Client Support Executive, Operations Administrator (Asset Management / Wealth Management), or Fund Distributions Administrator.
