Who we are looking for
The Fund Tax Senior Associate will act in several areas around shareholder taxation reporting, with a focus on controlling the on-going Investor Tax and Fund Tax figures. He follows up on all tax changes and actively interfere with operations, clients and other SSB offices

What you will be responsible for
The team you will be joining is acting in several areas focused on Investor Tax and Fund Tax Services reporting. The Tax Team is a part of State Street Bank International GmbH, Luxembourg Branch. The team members are the key contacts between State Street clients, tax advisors (e.g. for the compilation of the Austrian, Swiss, UK and US Tax Reporting), and the local administrations (e.g. for the quarterly Subscription Tax declarations, the annual VAT declarations under the simplified regime for the Luxembourgish domiciled Funds).

As Tax Analyst for Investor and Fund Tax Services, you will:

  • Focus on controlling and oversighting the on-going tax figures calculation (German, Belgian, Italian taxes)
  • Interfere with State Street operation teams (Fund Accounting, Client Service Management, Financial Reporting, Regulator and Domiciliary Teams)
  • Liaise with Tax Advisors and the Luxembourgish Tax Administrations
  • Follow up on tax changes and clients wishes
  • Provide support for the implementation of the regulatory changes (e.g. ESG with some tax benefits granted in case of investments in sustainable assets)
  • Participate to the integration of the new businesses.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Finance related educational degree – Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, International Business, Private Equity and Investment Management.
  • Candidate must have some financial knowledge of funds (equities, bonds, derivatives).
  • Fluent in English- French and/or German is a plus
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office products, in particular MS Excel
  • An expected experience of 2 years in the same position or in accounting is a plus
